How to Create a Triptych
Option 1: Multi-Panel Kit
Buy a dedicated multi-panel kit where one image spans 3 canvases. Paint each panel, hang with 3-5cm gaps. The full image emerges across all three panels for a dramatic panoramic effect.
Option 2: Themed Set
Choose 3 individual kits in the same theme, 3 floral paintings, 3 seascapes, 3 abstract designs. The shared style unifies them as a set, while each painting is unique and can stand alone.
Option 3: Color-Matched Set
Pick 3 kits in different subjects but matching color palettes, a landscape, an animal, and a floral all in warm autumn tones. The shared palette ties them together visually.
Hanging Tips
- Equal spacing: 3-5cm gaps between panels
- Align top edges: use a level
- Center panel first: then add sides
- Eye level: center of the triptych at 57 inches from floor (gallery standard)
Best Rooms for Triptychs
