Description
A brush left lying in a jar of water comes out with a bent tip, and a bent tip never paints a clean line again. This stand is the fix: the lattice grips each handle upright, so the bristles sit in the air and dry straight.
Two tiers of holes in several diameters, which means a wide flat and a 000 liner both stand without wobbling. Moulded white plastic, round, small enough to live beside the canvas rather than take over the table.
When it picks up paint, it goes under the tap.

How Many Colors Should I Choose?
You can pick how many colors you want in your kit. The more colors, the more detail.
24 colors provides basic detail and is great for beginners. 48 colors is nearly lifelike but could take a long time. 36 colors provides a happy medium, enough detail and not too too long finish.

- Acrylic paints: numbered pots matched to the canvas sections, 24, 36 or 48 of them depending on the level of detail chosen.
- Brush set: several sizes, the smallest one for sections narrower than a fingernail.
- Instruction sheet: how to read the numbers and the order worth painting in.
- Reference image: a small print of the finished artwork to work from.

A paint by numbers canvas arrives printed with outlined sections, and every section carries a number. The number tells you which numbered pot to open. You fill the sections one after another, and the picture builds itself as you go. Nothing has to be drawn, measured or mixed, which is why a first canvas works exactly like a twentieth.
